Privacy Policy

What data we collect

We collect email addresses submitted to the Harmonia waitlist. If you create an account, we also collect your email address and a hashed password via Supabase Auth. We do not collect any other personal information. We also store the songs, prompts, and any lyrics you submit to generate music, along with associated metadata (BPM, key, duration), as part of your account's project library. Audio you submit or record (e.g. a hummed melody) is not stored or used to generate anything — it is discarded immediately after being received, since our current AI provider has no audio-conditioning capability to generate from it.

If you save a chord progression as a Favourite, we store it as its own record — the label you give it, the chord sequence, the instrument (guitar or piano), and when it was saved — separately from your project library, since a Favourite doesn't require ever generating a song.

How we use it

Waitlist emails are used solely to notify you when Harmonia launches. Account credentials are used to provide access to your account and to authenticate you within the platform. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Data storage

Your data is stored securely via Supabase, with infrastructure hosted in the EU. Supabase encrypts data at rest and in transit.

Cookies

We use essential cookies only — specifically, session cookies required for authentication. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party analytics cookies.

Third parties

• Supabase — database, authentication, and storage for your account, projects, and generated audio
• Vercel — application hosting
• Stripe — payment processing (planned; not yet active)
• ElevenLabs — receives the lyrics text and style prompt you submit when generating a song, in order to produce the audio. Your email, user ID, and login credentials are never sent to ElevenLabs — only the content needed to generate the song. The pre-recorded chord sound samples used in the chords path (the guitar/piano audio you hear when tapping a chord) were produced separately, as a one-time offline step using ElevenLabs' Sound Effects API before launch — no user data was involved in creating them.
• Anthropic (Claude Haiku) — used in three places. The lyric-writing assistant receives the specific section you're reworking together with your full current lyrics draft (all sections), so its suggestions match your song's tone and voice. The chords flow's free-text interpreter receives the loose chord description you type when asking us to interpret it into a chord progression. The chord editor's “Suggest a variation” action receives your current chord sequence and style prompt. Your email, user ID, and login credentials are never sent to Anthropic — only the content needed to generate each response.
• fal.ai — planned for future AI-generated artwork; not yet integrated, no data is currently sent

Each of these services has its own privacy policy and data processing agreement. We share only the minimum data necessary for each service to function.

Your rights

You have the right to request deletion of your data at any time. To do so, email us at harmonia.platform@gmail.com and we will remove your data within 30 days.
